APPLICATIONS

 Nylon wheels should not be used in contact with concentrated acids, although some exposure to diluted acids is possible. Where extreme conditions are involved, tests should be conducted to establish the best choice of wheel.  

Wheel Characteristics:
• Water-treated after molding until natural absorption reaches that of normal atmospheric humidity to obtain maximum toughness
• Clean and lightweight with high load capacities
• Minimum lubrication required  

• Crowned tread for ease of movement
• Virtually non-marking; cause little floor damage
• Resistant to oils, fats, alkalis, soaps and detergents
• Ideal for steam cleaning or wash-down applications

Rounya's rigid casters are typically used in combination with swivel casters since rigids only allow the caster to roll in a straight line.

* Nylon caster is the hardest durometer wheel in our line. It has excellent wear, impact resistance, load capacity and can be used in outdoor environments.
* Polyurethane caster is the most versatile caster in our group since it can be used in most hard and soft wheel applications.
* Black Rubber caster is one of the most widely used casters for indoor environments due to it's quieter wheel operation.
* Elastic Rubber is our softest wheel available. This caster is great for lighter loads where quiet operation and floor protection are a must.
* Plastic is our only caster availabe with a low profile housing that minimizes the equipments overall height compared to standard height casters. This caster is great for lighter loads that require excellent wear and abrasion resistance.

Wheels are available in sizes from 2" to 16" and in materials matched to your temperature & chemical operating environment.
